This is a space for Global Majority folk.
A space where you can connect with what’s going on, who you are and your hopes and
dreams for the future.

I'm a qualified Integrative Counsellor and Psychotherapist based in London, providing a space for you to be heard and seen, to explore, be curious, learn more about yourself and importantly,
a space for you to just be.
As a South Asian, Muslim therapist, the mental health and wellbeing of the global majority is an area of my practice which I am especially passionate about, and I work in a way that seeks to honour and attune to your cultural, racialised and lived experience and history.

My approach is culturally-attuned and anti-oppressive, aware of the impact systems, power and oppression have on how individuals and communities experience the world.
Through understanding what you need, hope for and your preferences, I draw on and blend together a number of approaches, to co-create an approach that's right for you.
Ultimately, I believe in working with you to provide the space you need to speak your truth, discover the resources you have within yourself which enable change and empower you to live authentically.
Sessions can take place online, in person or in nature, and I offer a limited number of concession spaces.
While I work with all adults, my practice focuses on individuals who are part of the Global Majority ( Black, Brown, Asian, dual heritage, ethnically minoritised),
I facilitate creative wellbeing workshops for the general public, specific communities and organisations.
Some workshops are open to all, and others are specifically for Global Majority folk.
Reflective groups, space holding, psychoeducation and wellbeing talks, and consultancy for organisations.
If you'd like to find out more about working together, please get in touch using the form and we can book in for a free 20 minute consultation on Zoom.
Alternatively, feel free to pop me an email: farah@aspaceforyoucounselling.co.uk
