I work with Global Majority adults - Black, Brown, Asian, dual- and multi-heritage, and ethnically minoritised people - based in London or online globally*.
*Excluding the USA & Canada.
"Global Majority" describes Black, Asian, Brown, dual-heritage and ethnically minoritised people worldwide - groups that make up a global majority even where they're minoritised in a UK context. My practice centres this experience broadly; you don't need to belong to one particular community, faith or heritage to work with me.
No. My practice is culturally attuned and rooted in anti-oppressive practice. I'll always bring curiosity to understanding your experiences, but it's not your job to teach me about / educate me on your culture, faith or background.
If you're reading this, some part of you is probably already curious about therapy and that's usually enough of a starting point. Therapy can help if you're feeling lost, overwhelmed, anxious, or disconnected from yourself, or if you simply want a space that's just for you. You don't need a crisis, or have a reason that feels "big enough," to reach out.
Initial consultations are 20 minutes long and take place online via Zoom. We'll use the consultation call to briefly talk about what brings you to therapy and what you're hoping for, I'll share how I work and a bit about my practice, and there'll be space for you to ask any questions, and we both get a sense of whether we might be a good fit. There's no obligation to book ongoing sessions afterwards.
I'm a qualified Integrative Counsellor and Psychotherapist, trained to work both with immediate, present-day difficulties and with longer-standing patterns rooted in earlier experience. In practice, "counselling" and "psychotherapy" overlap considerably, and I draw on both shorter- and longer-term ways of working depending on what you need.
Yes. I'm a registered member of the BACP (British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy) and work within their ethical framework.
My BACP registered member number is:402886.
I work relationally, which means the therapeutic relationship itself becomes part of the healing process and integratively, blending humanistic and psychodynamic approaches - thinking about your here-and-now alongside how earlier experiences shape it.
Central to how I work is care and attunement to your cultural, spiritual, racialised, and lived experiences, working with you to find what helps create the space you need to speak your truth, discover your own capacity for change, and live more authentically.
Sessions are £80. I also hold a limited number of low-cost spaces; these are currently full.
Sessions are 50 minutes long and take place weekly.
Longer sessions are possible and are discussed, contracted for and planned together.
I offer online sessions via Zoom, in-person sessions in West Hampstead and Kings Cross, and outdoor sessions in nature in Mill Hill.
That's completely okay, and I always invite you to bring this into the room for us to chat through. Fit matters in therapy, and I'd rather you find the right therapist for you, even if that isn't me and we can talk about this honestly at any point.
Alongside individual therapy, I also facilitate workshops and reflective practice groups, and offer organisational consultancy.
Yes. I facilitate reflective practice groups for HR and People teams, Internal Comms professionals, EDI/AJEDI teams, and wellbeing and healthcare professionals - a confidential space to process the emotional labour of the work.
Get in touch with a little about your team or organisation's needs, and we can arrange a time to talk through what would be useful.
